I welcomed the idea of embracing this season I am in and to enjoy the chance to slow down and not feel pressured to create. I also knew deep inside that I needed to take active steps albeit small to rediscover what brings me joy. And if it meant doing it the DIY way - well, all right, then (and hopefully it works).
